Call for Special Issue Proposal - 2026 Edition
The African Journal of Pedagogy and Curriculum invites proposals for its 2026 Special Issue, focusing on critical perspectives in teaching and learning that address the contemporary moment of AI and machine learning in grades R-12, TVET Colleges and higher education contexts. We welcome innovative and interdisciplinary proposals that critically engage with current educational challenges, transformations and opportunities in AI technologies. Proposals should reflect scholarly rigour, relevance to African and global contexts, and a commitment to advancing pedagogical and curricular discourse in AI and emerging technologies
Suggested themes (but not limited to):
- Critical AI Literacy and Ethics in Education
- Digital learning futures and AI integration
- Teacher Agency and Professional Identity in the Age of AI
